However, the rest I can't agree with either.

I don't think any other city or country offers very different things when you don't know what to do. Sure, mayor cities like Amterdam offer places and events to go out, although certainly not 24/7, smaller cities and even towns also offer things you can do.

But like you said, it's not that you can't do anything, it's that you don't enjoy anything. Just 'Hanging out', in my opinion, doesn't require anything except probably some Friends to do that with. . . Although hanging out in the south of France gives some extra because the perfect weather (and new environment), but still... all you need is some bottles of wine, maybe some food, good music and some Friends to hang out with . . .

So before u move to another country or city, visit the beautifull but so racist city of Antwerp or crack my HomeTown, which, in order to answer your public question, is a fast economic growing town originally founded by the Roman Empire (!!), maybe you should spent the next coming weekends to figure out what it is that you need to relax and where your Friends are to do that with .
